Abstract— The world is becoming an aging society, with social security benefit spending and long-term care costs rising sharply. It is highly hoped that advanced ICT will be used to manage health, and that elderly people, regardless of their age, can actively participate in society even if they live alone. Conventional centralized health management systems are costly, high communication delays, high security risks, and difficult to share. We propose a distributed ubiquitous sensing health care system for watching and supporting elderly people. Ubi-care uses an IoT device layer that collects health-related data, a fog layer that collects life logs, and a cloud layer that moves, duplicates and shares data. The data of wear-free sensors and wearable sensors are collected in the UPDs of edge nodes installed locally. The data is filtered and fused, and personal health related data (life log) are extracted and stored in the individual’s Solid POD at the edge node. Data can be moved or copied freely between the local Solid POD and Solid POD in the cloud. Users are free to choose health related data analysis application and request analysis and monitoring. Furthermore, under the proposed framework, we discuss design, technical and elderly daily life issues regarding the minimal implementation of a smart guard system.

摘要– 世界正在成为一个老龄化社会,社会保障福利支出和长期护理费用急剧上升。人们非常希望利用先进的信息通信技术来管理健康,希望老年人无论年龄大小,即使是独居,也能积极参与社会。传统的集中式健康管理系统成本高,通信延迟大,安全风险高,且难以共享。我们提出了一个去中心化的泛在传感健康护理系统,用于观察和护理老年人生活。Ubi-care使用收集健康相关数据的物联网设备层,收集生活日志的雾层,以及移动、复制和共享数据的云层。生活环境中的无磨损传感器和可穿戴传感器的数据被收集在本地安装的边缘节点的UPD中。数据被过滤和融合,个人健康相关的数据(生活日志)被提取并存储在边缘节点的个人Solid POD中。数据可以在本地的Solid POD和云中的Solid POD之间自由移动或复制。用户可以自由选择与健康有关的数据分析应用,并要求进行分析和监测。此外,在所提出的框架下,我们讨论了最小智能护理系统的的设计、技术及对应的老年人的日常生活有关的问题解决方案。
